LEE & LOUISE
Beeston Manor Wedding
I first met Lee and Louise when I was photographing Lee’s dads wedding the year before and I was over the moon when they asked if I would do theirs as well. Their wedding would take place at Beeston Manor, Hoghton near Preston. Set in 140 acres of family owned land the 16th century barn was the perfect setting for an autumn wedding.
The day started early when I met with Louise and her bridesmaids at their house. I was shown an amazing collection of dinosaurs (individually and by species) by their young son, oh, and we got some lovely bridal prep pictures to! It was then off to Lee’s dads house to get some pictures of the lads getting ready before making the short journey on to Beeston Manor where the ceremony would take place.
A wet day outside certainly didn’t dampen the spirits and after a gorgeous ceremony in the converted barn at Beeston Manor at was time for afternoon tea and speeches. As it happens, we had a small break in the weather and had just enough time to get outside for some pictures before the dancing got going….and let me tell you it REALLY did get going!!
Anyway, here are some of my favourite pictures from the day…
